35 Year Old Nigerian Man Sentenced to Death for Drug Trafficking in Malaysia

 

A 35-year-old Nigerian man named Abuchi Ngwoke sentenced to death yesterday by a Malaysian High Court for drug trafficking.

According to Sahara Reporters, the accused was arrested in 2012 at a Malaysian airport after being caught with 251.66 grams of Methamphetamine. He had reportedly swallowed gemstones in Nigeria prior to getting on the flight to Malaysia. 

The execution date is yet to be announced. 

Nobel Laureate Diagnosed Of Cancer

Renowned playwright and Nobel Laureate, Prof. Oluwole Soyinka, on Tuesday opened up on his health status, saying he was diagnosed of cancer last December. But an expert and Founder of African Cancer Centre, Lagos, Prof. Olu Williams, quickly assured Soyinka that he would “not die of cancer.”

75 Year Old Oyo Man Arrested for Impregnating 13 Year Old Girl

A 75-year-old man in Oyo State has been arrested for impregnating a 13-year-old girl. According to the Tribune, the man, Pa Alabi, a carpenter, was doing some work for a woman when he met the girl, who was her apprentice.

‘I prayed for the shut down of Linda Ikeji’s blog’ – Princess

Following the crash of her 7-month old marriage, comedienne, Princess‎ has never stopped blaming the bloggers and a section of the media as being partly responsible for her failed marriage. Now, the comedian has taken it all further by mentioning popular blogger, Linda Ikeji‎ as the person who led the onslaught against her former union. 

At the Tyme out with Tee A concert which held on Sunday, November 16, 2014, Princess said‎: ‘Have you seen Linda Ikeji before? Do you know Linda Ikeji is very ugly, I’m finer and sexier than her, my prayers made google shut down her blog, I remember I went to MFM to pray and when I got back, her blog was shut down.’... 

Wow, that's deep. Praying for someone's means of livelihood to shut down though.

A horny couple was filmed by an on-looker having sex at the popular Bluewater shopping complex car park in Kent, UK. Kent's official twitter handle @Kent_999s said the man and woman started off by kissing and before they knew what was going on, the man pulled down the woman's jeans and they started having sex right there while leaning against a black Citroen car.

The guy who took the photo shared them on Kent's Twitter page and explained what he'd just witnessed. Of course, it got a lot of re-tweets...and the attention of police. The police have so far not gotten involved though having sex in a public place is an offense. Ewwww, get home first.  

Boko Haram Renames Captured Adamawa Town, Mubi, “City Of Islam

According to Premium Times, Boko Haram members who captured Mubi town in Adamawa State as renamed the town as Madinatul Islam, meaning the City of Islam. Here’s how Premium Times reports it; 

Contrary to the claim by the Nigerian military that it is on top of the security challenge in the commercial town of Mubi in Adamawa state, the dreaded Boko Haram sect is consolidating its position in the the captured town and has indeed renamed it “Madinatul Islam” meaning the city of Islam. 

Aliyu Bala, one of the residents, who could not leave Mubi at the time of the invasion of the town by the insurgents, disclosed this in a telephone chat with journalists. He said the insurgents had taken complete control of the town.

“They mounted check points and surveillance at strategic locations, brandishing riffles but asking us not to panic or run away,” Mr. Bala said.
