Photo: Nigerian Girl Trafficked For Prostitution In Burkina Faso Dies

A Nigerian girl identified as Gift from Edo state, (pictured above), has been found dead one month after she gave an interview to PM News, about how she was trafficked to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso for prostitution.

According to PM News, Gift had told them in January 2015 during an investigative report on Human trafficking that she and some girls had been lured to Ougadougou in April 2014 with the hope of getting a better life in Europe but in the end were made sex slaves at the ‘Bar Dancing Petit Ouaga’, a brothel in Toudoubweogo village in Ouagadougou.

During the interview in January, Gift had expressed hope that once she has paid the traffickers their money, she would be free to leave. Unfortunately she's dead.

Husband Fakes Own Abduction to Extort $450 “Ransom” from Banker Wife

Eliot Garrido Guido, 36, unemployed from Mexico City faked his own abduction to extort $450 ransom from his banker wife. He set up the devious plan with his friend Carlos Amilcar Martinez Reyes, 42, Daily Mail reports.

Mexican authorities state that Guido was jealous and embarrassed by the fact that his wife earned more money than him.

A baby delivered inside the lavatory of an Indian train slipped through the toilet bowl to fall on the rail tracks but survived. A report from New Delhi on Tuesday, said a pregnant woman traveling with her family in the north-western state of Rajasthan had labour pains on the train, according to News Agency of Nigeria

NDLEA Arrests Cherubim & Seraphim Pastor for Attempting to Export N609 Million Worth of Narcotics

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said on Monday that it had apprehended a pastor in Lagos attempting to export 174 kg of narcotics worth N609 million to South Africa.

In a statement by the Head, Public Affairs Unit, Ofoyeju Mitchell, the NDLEA said the suspect was arrested following the interception of the drug at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) during pre-shipment examination.
