Father sells his 6-Month-Old son to pay for Visa

This is just the height of it. Personally, I don't think that is his biological baby but then again the levels of desperation to get rich quick has hit people hard that it makes people loose their sense of reasoning. One Mr Onyekachi Ekwelum, who sold his six-month-old baby to raise money to process his travel documents, has been charged before a magistrate in court to defend his action.

Mr Ekwelum allegedly hatched and executed the act without the consent of the wife, but the lid was blown off by his 20-year-old spouse, Ozioma, when she could not find their son and reported the matter to the police.

It was discovered that her husband wanted to abandon her and travel to Greece.
The Abia State commissioner of Police, Mr Usman Abubakar Tilli, who disclosed this to newsmen in his office on Monday said the police mounted a man hunt that led to the rescue of the child and the arrest of the suspects. Chai! such evils

Charly Boy explains why he sleeps in his casket

Ok, you all remember last week I put up a post about Area Fada, Charly Boy posing beside his casket with a comment "all my bright ideas comes from my casket, very comfy", well he's come out to explain what he actually meant.

Sleeping in a Coffin?
Point of correction, I do not sleep in a casket, I sleep on my bed, it's big and comfy, I only lay in my "casket"when I do my meditation because it helps me to be focused, it tells me more about the imminence of death. My casket is a reminder. It wakes me up from slumber. It tells me, "guy, you have got little or no time left, wake up, be creative and work”.

Of course, when I read some of the comments of my people, I know a good number of us are ill-informed about quite a number of things. I think it is more of what the casket represents that shocks my people and they start reading meanings into it, depending on their level of understanding. But one question is, what if the same wood that was used to build the casket was used to make a sofa chair? May be, all the hullabaloo about me sitting on a chair wouldn't have been there in the first place? So when people vocalize their disapproval of my message via the image of a casket, I understand that they do that from a position of Fear, fear of what the casket represents - Death.

Indian Engineers invent anti-rapè underwear which gives attackers electric shock

The UK Sun Reports;
Three engineering students have come up with “anti-rape” underwear that gives an electric shock to attackers AND alerts cops. The trio designed a camisole under-wired with a technology that can deliver up to 82 electric shocks.
The garment has pressure sensors sewn in around the bust area that detect groping hands and send out the shock – which has the strength of a stun gun.
The product also sends a message to police as well as to the family of the victim.

FG to scrap JAMB and NECO exams

Federal Government has concluded arrangements to scrap the National Examination Council. Plans have also been concluded to cancel the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination being conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board for applicants into the nation’s tertiary institutions.
JAMB will however not be scrapped. Under the new arrangement, the source said in place of UTME, authorities of all tertiary institutions would now be at liberty to conduct their entrance examinations as they had been doing for post-UTME.
“JAMB will now be a clearing house like Universities and Colleges Admissions Service in the UK. If somebody gains admission into three universities and holds down space, immediately such person picks his first choice, JAMB’s system will automatically free the remaining two slots for other applicants.
“JAMB will no longer conduct examinations but it will be setting the standard alongside the schools authorities,” the source said.

Why Tonto Dikeh Must Be Stopped

Hehehe! waiting for Tonto's reply to this.

I have watched with patient annoyance, I have listen with patient distress, to the sights and sounds of our dear actress turn singer Tonto Dikeh.

Like many others, I chose not to talk about her but I was forced to know how wrong I was for keeping silent by the words of Alibaba and OJB, two eminent personalities that means a lot to the entertainment industry.

Alibaba once tweeted “Playing a song of an artiste that you know is not good enough is no encouragement you are spoiling the market”. In an online interview with OJB by the crew of Information Nigeria, he said.

Read Patrick Obahiagbon's Easter message to Nigerians

Read his Easter message to Nigerians below...Good luck

"As we join Christians in the celebration of Easter, may we truly reflect on the quintssential modus vivendi of Master Jesus; The Christ, who peregrinated this incarnation as an exempli gratia of self abnegation, puritanical excrescence, spartan discipline, mental magnitude, hierophantic candour and altruistic effusions, qualities which have become a desiderata for national resurgimento."
