Landlord discovers staff of money under tenants bed

A landlord, Ma Guangdi has discovered $1 million in cash left under the bed in an apartment abandoned by a tenant in Dongguan, China. He was preparing to advertise for a new tenant for the apartment and was in the process of cleaning up when he discovered the cash, according to news.com.au.

When the bed and mattress in the main bedroom were moved, four large packages tightly wrapped in tape were revealed.

Opening one of the packages, bundles of notes in various denominations, from 5 to 50 Yuan were found.

He decided to notify police, who seized the cash on suspicion it was gained by illegal means.

Nigerian Prisoners In The UK To Be Sent Back Home To Serve Out Their Sentence

Oh, oh! Hundreds of Nigerian criminals will be sent home to serve out prison sentences under a deal set to be struck by ministers within weeks.

According to DailyMail, talks are continuing into reaching a compulsory prisoner transfer agreement which could see more than half of the 500 criminals from Nigeria currently in UK jails repatriated.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to end the practice of the British taxpayer picking up the bill for criminals with no business in the UK, which is about £40, 000 a year for each felon. Britain says instead it would pay to build new prisons in countries like Nigeria to speed up the process of sending foreign criminals home.

Up to £1million has been promised to upgrade Nigerian jails, including a new wing at Kirikiri Prison in Lagos. Heard Nigerian prisons are hell compared to UK prisons.

"I attended Daughters of Divine Love Convent, Enugu State.  I thought I would be a reverend sister but I abandoned the vision when I dropped out in my fifth year. I finished my secondary educationin a secular institution before moving to Babcock University.  I could not finish from Babcock because I had some personal issues. Again, I dropped and enrolled at the National Open University..It affected me in a very spiritual way. In as much as I know worldly things, I still fear God and have faith in Him.  The reason why I wanted to become a nun was because I was raised in a Catholic home.  I just felt it was the best thing for me to do at that time. I used to see myself as a messenger of God.  Even though I did not become a nun, I still remain faithful to God. Part of my dreams is to establish a church and do a lot of charity work"

Chaka Khan, Angelique Kidjo to perform in Lagos, October 12

According to the net.ng, two great female singers – 10 time Grammy Award-winning US singer-songwriter Chaka Khan and Grammy Award-winning Beniniose singer-songwriter, noted for her diverse musical influences and creative music video Angelique Kidjo will be performing at a Lagos concert on October 12, 2013.

Titled the Love Music Love Life Luxury Concert and organised by radio station Smooth 98.1FM, the music sweethearts will take guests on a nostalgic ride with hits like Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’, ‘I’m Every Woman’ and ‘I Feel for You’ and Kidjo’s ‘Agolo’ ‘Wombo Lombo’ and many other hits.

The event will hold at the Expo Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.

Feyi Agagu Recounts To Insiders His Last Thoughts Before He Boarded Ill Fated Plane.

 If individuals took their instincts more seriously, perhaps, the tragedy of last Thursday involving the embalmed body of late Governor Olusegun Agagu of Ondo State and the burial team traveling aboard the Associated Airline Flight, with registration number SCD 361, may have been avoided.

Indeed, Feyi, son of Chief Agagu, who was on board that flight, may have been spared the horrors of hospitalisation in the wake of the tragedy. He is lucky to be one of the survivors.

According to the family insider Feyi spoke to, “the young man said that once they got to the tarmac before boarding and once he sighted the plane, what struck him was the seemingly very old look of the plane”. Continuing, the source narrated: “Feyi said he didn’t like the looks of the plane. “He also said but for the importance and significance of the trip, his inner sense didn’t feel comfortable boarding the plane.

Actress Halle Berry and husband Olivier Martinez have welcomed their first child together, a bouncing baby boy. A representative for the 47-year-old Oscar-winning actress confirmed that the couple welcomed their son into the world on Saturday.

According to reports, Berry delivered the baby at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

This is the second child for Berry. Berry and Martinez got married at a chateau in Burgundy, France, in July. Congrats to them.
