PENCOM chairman, Oluwole Adeosun, dies at 74
Chief Oluwole Adeosun, the Chairman of the National Pensions Commission and former Secretary for Transport, Aviation and Communications during the Transitional Government of Chief Ernest Shonekan, has died aged 74.
Adeosun died in New Delhi, India on Thursday, where he had gone for a medical checkup, according to a statement on Sunday by his son, Adewole.
Adeosun was also the Managing Director/Chief Executive of FirstBank from 1987 to 1990 and served on the Presidential Monitoring Committee during Nigeria’s bid to host the Under-23 World Cup in I985.
He was the president of Nigerian- American Chambers of Commerce in 1993. May his soul rest in peace.
