Lagos Police Arrests Woman Who Allegedly Paid N600,000 to Have Her Husband Killed

A yet-to-be-named woman has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly hiring assassins to eliminate her husband.

The woman was paraded alongside 25 other suspects at the Lagos Police Command’s headquarters on Thursday.




The Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, who paraded the suspects said they were intercepted in different locations within the state.

Owoseni said that the woman was arrested after the suspected assassin who had been arrested, named her as the person who contracted him to kill her husband.

“One of the hired assassins has confessed to the crime and we are currently on the trail of the other assassins. The woman was picked up after a suspect was arrested and he named her as the person who contracted him to kill her husband. He said that the woman paid him N600,000 to eliminate her husband,” Owoseni said.
