Fidel Castro, Cuba’s former president and leader of the Communist revolution, has died aged 90.

CNN reports that a message from Cuba’s presidency said that Castro died at 10:29pm (local time) on November 25.

Singapore Executes Nigerian Man found Guilty of Drug Trafficking after 8 years

The government of Singapore in the early hours of Friday, executed a Nigerian Chijioke Stephen Obioha, 35, for drug related offences.

Chijoke was first arrested on April 9, 2007, and sentenced to the Mandatory Death Penalty in 2008 after being found guilty of trafficking more 2.6 kilograms of cannabis.

Following the announcement of the decision to execute him, Chijioke’s lawyer, Joseph Chen filed an Urgent Criminal Motion at the Court of Appeal but it was dismissed.

27-year-old Peter Odukoya, a Computer science undergraduate in the UK, has been convicted by a UK court after it heard an audio of a 20-year-old woman he sexually assaulted.

In the audio which was played in the court by the prosecution, the woman was heard pleading with him as he assaulted her "I don't want this. I'm very drunk".

3-year-old Girl Recovering From Ulcers Around her Mouth After Kissing a Family Member

A 3-year-old girl is currently recovering from herpes, which she got after kissing a family member last year.

The toddler whose mother claimed was being ‘eaten alive’ by a ravaging skin infection, was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year, DailyMail Reports.

Her mother, Savina French-Bell, 21, who is a nursery worker, said:

The identity of a woman who allegedly contracted assassins to kill her husband has been revealed.

According to Vanguard, 41-year-old Chika Orji, who was arrested by policemen attached to Area ‘J’ Command, Ajah, Lagos State, said she only sent thugs to beat him up for constantly abusing her physically, adding that she was tired and frustrated.

Lagos Police Arrests Woman Who Allegedly Paid N600,000 to Have Her Husband Killed

A yet-to-be-named woman has been arrested in Lagos State for allegedly hiring assassins to eliminate her husband.

The woman was paraded alongside 25 other suspects at the Lagos Police Command’s headquarters on Thursday.

Nigerian Man and His Wife Arrested over N180m Love Scam

The Crime Suppression Division (CSD) of Thailand’s Police has arrested a Nigerian, Chinaka Chinedu, who is said to be 23-years-old, and his Thai wife, Uraporn Kesawatana, 34 for allegedly scamming Thai women seeking for marriage, to the tune of 20 million Thai Baht (about N180m).

Bangkok Post reports that the CSD deputy commander, Sithatkhet Khruwatanaset said the duo were arrested on Phetkasem 77 Road in Nong Khaem district, Bangkok.

Woman Dumps Her Baby on the Street Two Hours After Birth

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Fatai Owoseni, on Thursday said the Police had arrested a 31-year-old woman who allegedly dumped her baby on the street about two hours after her birth.

Owoseni, who gave the suspect’s name as Ifunanya Eme, an indigene of Enugu State, said she was arrested on Tuesday during the Eid el-Kabir holiday.

Vanguard reports that one of the girls had reported to the police after she and the pastor had a misunderstanding.
