A gang of four gunmen shot dead a former chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Mr. Toyin Hamzat, as he dropped off a female companion in Sagamu, Ogun State. It was learnt that Hamzat was shot dead after the four gunmen blocked his car as the lady alighted around 9p.m.
They were said to be returning from a party when the shooting occurred. More details later.
