Kwara Government on Wednesday announced the death of Second Republic Senate Leader, Dr. Olusola Saraki. The elderstatesman died at the age of 79 years. Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, who announced the death of the politician at Government House, Ilorin, said Saraki passed on in the early hours of Wednesday.
The governor declared Wednesday a work-free day to allow residents of the state to receive the body of the politician, who died in Lagos. The body of the late politician is expected in Ilorin at 2p.m while the burial is expected to take place at 4p.m. May his soul rest in peace.
