The Osun State government has sent a bill to the state’s House of Assembly, asking that the penises of convicted rapists be cut off. The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs. Mofolake Adegboyega said that stringent penalty like cutting off of their “third leg’’ will be appropriate for their offence. Do you think this measure will actually stop rape? What are your thoughts?
