Awww, congrats to her. Love is really in the air this month. After months of denial and hiding, R&B-Pop singer Tiwa Savage and her manager Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ are now officially engaged!
Tee Billz made a formal proposal to Tiwa Savage on the 5 February, 2013, nine days to Valentine’s Day. The romantic moment was witnessed by a few celebrity friends including label boss Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Banky W, OAP Toolz and several others.
The pair had denied the relationship for years, and when the marriage rumours surfaced weeks back, their denials became even more vehement. But the past few days proved they had gotten tired of living a lie with photos, and tweets from here and Dubai confirming what they had hidden for long.
‘I am not engaged and I am not dating Tee Billz. If I am, you would have seen a ring on my finger indicating that I am engaged. It’s just a rumour’, she told Encomium in December 2012.
But the rumours re-emerged when the pair flew to Dubai and checked into the luxurious Burj Al Arab Hotel, spending time together, taking boat cruises and the likes. Sources are suggesting that Tiwa and Mr Balogun might even have wedded and that the Dubai trip was their honeymoon.
This morning which happens to be Tiwa’s 33 birthday, Tee Billz reportedly updated his BlackBerry Messenger status to ’Happy birthday Mrs Billz‘. Tiwa also posted two cakes on her Instagram page. The inscription on the first cake reads ‘Happy birthday Mrs Billz‘. Congrats once again future Mrs Bills and happy birthday!
