Oh yes! Trekking has come to stay in Nigeria. So over the past few weeks I have seen quite a number of trekkers either for politicians or for "Nigeria's unity".
The newest trekker is a woman by the name Agu Chidera Joy who wants to trek from Enugu to Abuja in what she described as a unity walk.
It's been reported that Joy is not trekking in honour of any politician. She is trekking for probably APC and PDP and for every Nigerian.
She has reportedly been trekking for 9 days so far, and had reached Kogi State on Thursday morning.
I strongly believe there's more to this trekking than meets the eye. I mean how does one wake up and just decide to start trek in the hot sun. Please share your thoughts.
