The Nigeria Police has announced the death of Assistant Inspector General Muktari Ibrahim, of the Zone 6 headquarters in calabar. He was aged 55. He was buried in Kano, his hometown yesterday, according to Islamic rites.
He died after a brief illness at the University Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Cross River State at about 11am of 22nd December, 2012.
