Hahaha, just can't help but laugh! A man who was recently dumped by his girlfriend has had the last laugh after winning $30million on the lottery this week. Sandeep Singh, 22, from Cape Cod, had also been working two jobs in an effort to get by - but he will now be able to quit both after landing the Mega Millions jackpot. He became a multi-millionaire by splitting the $61million prize with a ticket-holder from California.
Mr Singh asked his sister buy him a lottery ticket from a convenience store in Hyannis, Massachusetts, and discovered he had won after the draw on Tuesday evening. He turned up at the lottery headquarters on Wednesday accompanied by his family to claim his share of the millions.
The lucky winner revealed that his girlfriend had recently left him - but now he is 'suddenly' starting to get over it', according to WCVB. 'She broke up with me,' he said. 'But right now, I'm not really worried about it. I was heartbroken at first, but now I am getting over it.'
